Original Zimmerman Painting may fetch over $100k on ebay

George Zimmerman has hit headline news yet again.   This time there are no charges of violence, as he has turned to art therapy to help him get through his uneasy times.  And with the look of it, he will be getting a nice lump sum of money this Christmas for selling his own original artwork on eBay to help him out of debt.

After being acquitted in the shooting of Travon Martin in July and the recently dropped charges by his girlfriend he had allegedly aggravated assaulted, the 30 year old has debt over $2 million.

In his description page on eBay Zimmerman writes a note: “First hand painted artwork by me, George Zimmerman. Everyone has been asking what I have been doing with myself. I found a creative, way to express myself, my emotions and the symbols that represent my experiences. My art work allows me to reflect, providing a therapeutic outlet and allows me to remain indoors 🙂 I hope you enjoy owning this piece as much as I enjoyed creating it. Your friend, George Zimmerman”

His painting, a blue tinted American flag with the words, “GOD ONE NATION WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL” stenciled on begun at just $50 on eBay and within minutes the frenzy started. With 4 days left to the bidding, Zimmerman has already racked up a current bid of $99,966.00 + $40 shipping from 98 bidders.  One more bid puts him at $100,066 or above – tune back on Saturday for the sales result.
