Statue Selfies

It’s one of the newest internet trends, and also one of the most bearable things that people are posting on the Internet these days. It began at the Crawford Art Gallery in Cork, Ireland by a visitor who took photographs of Greco-Roman sculptures with his phone in such a way to look like the statues are taking selfies. Now, there’s a whole Reddit page dedicated to them. On Twitter, do a search for #MuseumSelfie and see what you find. Despite that I’m an American teenager, I don’t like selfies. I’ve never taken a selfie. But I found these statue selfies some of the most amusing stuff on the Internet. For more, visit news.artnet.com.
